Seventh (and last) day of my January 2023 trip to Hawaii. We would spend the day in Haleakalā National Park, starting with its famous sunrise and followed by an epic hike through its volcanic crater.

After a minor winter storm, I decided on a final hike of the year of following Tuscarora Trail to Pinnacle Shelter. Unfortunately, the storm created more ice than snow on the trail, with a high number of fallen trees that I had to bail out half way.

The fourth day of my 2022 Thanksgiving trip to Big Bend National Park. I planned an epic hike for the day, covering both Chisos South Rim and Emory Peak.

The third day of my 2022 Thanksgiving trip to Big Bend National Park. I plan to hike two popular trails in the park, The Window and Lost Mine.

Second day of my road trip to the south Blue Ridge Mountains. I would be hiking to Mount LeConte, an iconic mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This was the first of a four-day road trip to the south, where I chased some great foliage colors in October 2022. Today, I hiked to Charlies Bunion, a popular trail in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, before catching sunset at Clingmans Dome.

Seventh day of our 2022 Colorado trip. We would be visiting Rocky Mountain National Park today, do some hiking among the scenic alpine lakes in the Bear Lake area, and finish the day with a tour of the park’s Trail Ridge Road.

Sixth and probably the most exciting day of our 2022 Colorado trip. We would be climbing Longs Peak via Keyhole route, a stunning YDS class 3 14er in Rocky Mountain National Park for intrepid adventurers.
